The engagement
Renox is a metal fabrication shop in Tbilisi, Georgia. Davit Tsitsko worked with the company on its existing infrastructure, operational bottlenecks, procurement planning and operating processes.
The work connected three areas that leadership teams often assess separately: the infrastructure supporting the operation, the purchases needed to support it, and the processes used to organize the work.
Infrastructure audit and bottleneck identification
Davit audited the current infrastructure and identified operational bottlenecks. Reviewing the existing operation provided the starting point for improvement.
The audit and bottleneck identification formed part of the same engagement as the procurement and process work. This connected the assessment to practical changes in how the business operated.
Procurement planning and process implementation
Davit planned a better procurement approach for Renox and implemented operational processes. Procurement planning and operating changes were addressed together with the infrastructure review.
The engagement therefore extended beyond identifying issues: it included work on the plan for procurement and implementation of operational processes.
Reported outcome
Davit reports improved efficiency following the work. The outcome is described qualitatively; a quantified before-and-after comparison is not published in this case summary.
This account reflects the scope and outcome provided by Davit. It does not attribute a separate numerical result to the audit, procurement plan or process implementation.
Lessons for another metal fabrication business
The case illustrates the value of considering infrastructure, procurement and processes together. For another business, the starting point is its own operating problem and available evidence.
A new engagement should define the desired outcome, identify the responsible people and agree how progress will be assessed. Procurement questions can then be connected to the capability the operation needs, while process changes have an explicit purpose and owner.
For supplier comparisons, the vendor evaluation scorecard is a separate practical resource. It can help document requirements, evidence and unresolved questions before a selection decision.
